Wedding Dinner on 21st Nov 2015
My husband and I are writing in to compliment a few of your staffs for all the help they have given us to make our special night run really smoothly.
First and most importantly, Rosanne Poh. We first met her during the hotel wedding showcase about a year ago. She is one of the reasons why we decided to sign up with your hotel to hold our banquet. Not only did she not pressurize us to sign on the spot, she also followed up closely with any queries we had as we were comparing a few hotels at the same time.
With a few months to go before our wedding, she contacted us and from there, we have to admit we might have pestered her a little too much sometimes. However, Rosanne went the extra mile to accommodate our requests (if possible) and also stayed back a few times to settle certain issues for us. When we needed some help with searching for red wine on consignment basis, she immediately gave us some contacts to work with. During the finalization meeting, she was more than patient as we hemmed and hawed over the wedding favours, the songs, the table arrangement etc.
On the actual night itself, Rosanne was ever present. She was always there when I thought noone was helping me to maneuver around in my gown; she was there when my parents had to cancel some last minute table arrangement; she was there to keep me calm (I was freaking out before both march-ins). Our husband and I are really glad that Rosanne was there to help us oversee things as we were both really busy entertaining our guests and had no time to look into the minute details.
Secondly, Stephen, our banquet captain (if we remember correctly). Both of us have never met Stephen until the actual evening but we could tell that he gave us his utmost best in helping us with our montage and videos during the rehearsal. We were not in the least bit worried with his constant reassurance as well as motivation (remember I was freaking out before the march-ins?) and I am really grateful for that. He was also always present on stage with a smile, and always so attentive to our needs. A nod, or a wave, and he’ll be right beside us. Together with Rosanne, we could tell that they have coordinated everything so wonderfully between the two for them, allowing my husband and I a peace of mind to interact with our guests.
The following morning when we went down for our breakfast, we were warmly welcomed by Nigel, who was on duty in Spices. Imagine our surprise when he enquired about the banquet! Both of us felt really happy to be recognised and given such a personal welcome (cheap thrill, I know haha..).
Thank you once again, and choosing Concorde Hotel for our special night has been the best decision we have made for our wedding.
Wedding Lunch of Mr Tan Ee Kai and Ms Vivien Kwang on Saturday, 14 May 2016
My wife and I are truly impressed with the standard of service level that was rendered to us during our wedding lunch. Every little detail was taken into consideration and handled professionally. You made us feel that we are indeed valued customers by the hotel.
We refer especially to the countless messages that were send to you, sometimes in the middle of the night, which were promptly replied regardless of the time. We thank you for your patience and never once have you lose your cool.
The positive vibes and assurance given by both Stephen and yourself before,during, and even after the banquet really help in making us feel that everything is in safe hands. That is something which I believe all wedding couples will appreciate.
You and your team have created a lot of invaluable sweet memories which will follow us for the rest of our lives. All in all, this is a very positive experience and we are indeed glad to make a friend out of you!
